I had a lot of great fishing days in 2009, but two days stand out as really memorable:

One morning, while going after King Salmon on the Kenai River, we headed down river to a spot I had fished the day before. I had had some luck there the previous day and thought we would start there again. But, when we arrived at the spot, three boats were already set up and fishing there. I opted to go a bit down river from them, to a spot that would have been my second or third choice. A bit discouraged, I baited every rod up with Nate’s Bait and began our morning.  The action began right away! Within two hours, we boated six King Salmon, released two, and had very happy clients from California and Oregon.

Another memorable day occurred in September on the Kenai River, while fishing a Silver Salmon Tournament. We fished along with fifty other boats. We were one of the first boats to limit out. Those feisty Silvers really hit on the Quick-Fish wrapped with sardines that were cured in Nate’s Bait. I would like to take credit for choosing just the right color or pattern of Quick-Fish, but all four rods were equally hot! I have no doubt that Nate’s Bait gave us the edge!

With over 25 years of guided fishing under my belt, I would like to take credit for these great fishing days, but I know that Nate’s Bait really made the difference! I won’t be caught on the river without Nate’s Bait!
